How I work
Therapy that goes beneath the surface
My approach is relational, depth-oriented, and deeply personal — because lasting change happens when we understand not just what you're feeling, but why.
My philosophy
Healing is not a destination. It's a way of relating to yourself.
I believe that the struggles we carry — anxiety, relational patterns, grief, self-doubt — are not flaws to be fixed. They are meaningful signals from a self that has been doing its best to survive and adapt.
My work is grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. Together, we slow down enough to listen to what those signals are trying to tell you — and to gently, courageously, begin to change what no longer serves you.
I draw from psychodynamic theory, somatic awareness, and evidence-based practices to create a therapy that is both intellectually rigorous and deeply human.
Therapeutic modalities
A layered, integrative approach
No single method fits every person. I weave together several evidence-based approaches, tailored to your unique history, nervous system, and goals.
Psychodynamic Therapy
We explore the unconscious patterns, early experiences, and relational dynamics that shape how you move through the world — bringing what's hidden into the light so it can shift.
- Uncover root causes, not just symptoms
- Explore early attachment and relational patterns
- Build lasting self-understanding
Hypnotherapy
Clinical hypnotherapy accesses the subconscious mind to release deeply held beliefs, process trauma, and create new neural pathways — often reaching places talk therapy alone cannot.
- Access subconscious beliefs and patterns
- Reduce anxiety and stress responses
- Accelerate healing and behavioral change
Mind-Body Integration
The body holds what the mind cannot always articulate. I incorporate somatic awareness and nervous system regulation to help you feel safe in your own skin.
- Regulate the nervous system
- Process trauma stored in the body
- Develop embodied self-awareness
Art Therapy
Creative expression bypasses the inner critic and opens a different channel of knowing. Art therapy is especially powerful for those who find words limiting or who carry pre-verbal experiences.
- No artistic skill required
- Access emotion beyond language
- Integrate right-brain and left-brain processing
What to expect
The shape of our work together
Free consultation
We begin with a 15-minute call to see if we're a good fit. There's no pressure — just an honest conversation about what you're looking for and how I work.
Initial sessions
The first few sessions are about understanding your history, your patterns, and your goals. I listen deeply and begin to form a picture of what healing might look like for you.
Ongoing depth work
We meet weekly, building a therapeutic relationship that itself becomes a vehicle for change. Over time, insights deepen, patterns shift, and new ways of being emerge.
Integration & growth
Therapy isn't forever — it's a season. We work toward a place where you carry the insights and tools with you, and feel ready to move forward with greater freedom.
What I believe
The principles that guide my practice
Safety first
Nothing meaningful can happen without a felt sense of safety. I work to create a space where you can be fully honest — with me and with yourself.
Curiosity over judgment
I approach every part of you — including the parts you're ashamed of — with genuine curiosity and warmth. There is nothing here that cannot be explored.
The relationship matters
Research consistently shows that the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful predictor of healing. I take our connection seriously.
You are the expert on you
I bring knowledge and tools; you bring wisdom about your own life. The best therapy is a collaboration, not a prescription.
